Chase Generates Charges
The four men arrested after a dramatic chase involving police and a van in west Belfast on Tuesday have been charged with a total of 23 offences. During the high speed pursuit, two allegedly stolen generators were said to have been pushed from the van which collided with two other vehicles at Upper Dunmurry Lane and Kennedy Way - injuring a man, a woman and a child before the vehicle, slowed by a police stinger, was abandoned at Monagh Bypass.

Four police officers confronted a Strabane woman in her own home before realising they had got the wrong house. She said she has been troubled with nightmares since it happened. The BBC has reported that Gale Doherty met the PSNI as they burst into her hallway in St Colman's Drive. A senior officer has since apologised for the mistake.
Drugs Raids Alert
It has emerged that the police have undertaken several drugs raids across Northern Ireland, which is part of a PSNI crackdown mainly focused in the North West and targeted against the cultivation of cannabis. A quantity of drugs has been recovered and several arrests have been made, but no further details about the operation have been made available.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Teen Arrested Over Security Alert In West Belfast
A teenager has been arrested following a security alert at a west Belfast police station. The incident occurred at Woodbourne PSNI station on Tuesday. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene after a suspicious object was discovered. It was later declared an "elaborate hoax" by the police.

A man has been arrested and seven PSNI officers injured after a high speed car chase in west Belfast early this morning. The incident happened at around 1.20am when a police officer approached a vehicle on the Whiterock Road.
