Two men sought following 'serious sexual assault'

Detectives are seeking two men in relation to a serious sexual assault on a woman in the Newtownabbey area on Sunday morning.

The incident happened near the Monkstown Social Club in the Cloyne Crescent area between 3am and 3.30am.

The 36-year-old-victim was confronted by two men as she walked home. She was forced to the ground and assaulted before managing to escape her attackers.

One of the attackers is described as in his 20s with short black spiky hair and a ring pierced through his right eyebrow. He was wearing a white T-shirt. The second individual was described as in his 30s, with grey hair and of stout build. He was wearing a denim jacket.

Anyone who was in the Cloyne Crescent area in the early hours of Sunday and who may have any information should contact detectives at Newtownabbey on 028 9065 0222.

Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.
