Tyrone Manager In Car Accident

Tyrone Manager Mickey Harte has sustained injuries after the car he was travelling in went 'off the road' earlier today.

Mr Harte, who lifted the All-Ireland Trophy with his county side last month, is now being treated at Craigavon Hospital, Co Armagh.

It is believed he suffered minor cuts and bruises in the accident.

There are reports a lorry may have been involved in the accident, which happened near Carrickmore.

Tyrone GAA sources told the BBC Mr Harte's car "had gone off the road".

Despite a bystander describing Mr Harte's vehicle as a "write off", he was apparently able to walk away from the scene, before being taken to hospital.
