Insurance Company Creates 350 Jobs In Cork

Quinn Insurance is planning to create 350 new jobs in Co Cork over the coming years.

The positions will be located at a new base in Little Island.

Tánaiste Mary Coughlan will formally announce details of the project during a visit to Cork today.

She is also due to announce a new investment at a high-tech company that is expected to create more than 100 jobs.

Irish Firm Creates 260 Jobs In Co Cork
Two hundred and sixty jobs are to be created in Cork by Irish-owned company, SouthWestern. The firm, which provides health claims administration, debt collection and help desk services, will create 100 jobs immediately, with an additional 160 jobs to follow over the next two years.

Nandos Creates Jobs In Cork
Restaurant chain Nando's is to create 28 jobs in Cork with the opening of its latest restaurant. The company already has four restaurants throughout the island of Ireland, employing 155 people. The new restaurant will be located on Mahon Link Road in Cork, and joins existing outlets in Dundrum, Swords and Belfast.
