Orange to partner UK summer music events
Mobile phone company Orange is set to become the Official Communications Partner to some of this year’s most popular music events.
Orange will be providing a range of interactive entertainment and information services for events at Glastonbury (28-30 June), Scotland’s T In The Park (13-14 July), and the Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds Festivals (23-25 August).
The telecommunications company will also be offering the UK’s first TexTicketing service to be launched by a mobile operator, giving customers the opportunity to text “Reading Tickets", "Leeds Tickets", “Glastonbury Tickets" or “T In The Park Tickets" to 07813895252 for an exclusive allocation to this year’s events.
Before setting off festivalgoers can also take advantage of Orange’s information services. By dialling 277 Orange customers can receive text message updates and by dialling 177 they can access an exclusive festival information line.
Orange will also sponsor the Official Communications Partner to Manumission at Privilege in Ibiza, the world's largest club. (MB)
