Six People In Road Collision

Six people have been injured in a three-vehicle road crash in County Down. The four children and two adults were taken to hospital for examination after the collision involving two cars and a traffic. It happened on Sunday afternoon on the Belfast Road, close to the junction with Lessans Road. A police spokeswoman said the four children and two adults were taken to hospital for examination, and their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Woman Attacked In City Centre

A woman has been assaulted in Belfast city centre. The attack took place at about 5pm on Saturday in the Church Lane area when she was attacked by an unknown man at the Cole's Alley public toilets. The woman, aged in her 50s, suffered injuries to her face. Police believe a knife was used in the attack. A man was seen running away towards Ann Street. He was wearing a black jacket and jeans, of medium build and was in his 20s or 30s.

Man Taken To Hospital After Fire

A man has been taken to hospital following a fire in Dungannon, County Tyrone. It was reported at about 3am on Monday that a shed at premises on Ballygawley Road was on fire. The man is thought to have been trying to rescue livestock from the shed. The fire service is still at the scene. The man was brought to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Woman Critical After Collision In L'Derry
A woman is in a critical condition after a two car crash in L'Derry. The collision happened on Victoria Road at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, 27 June. The 67-year-old is believed to have been the driver of the car. A passenger in the same vehicle was also taken to hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.

Man Dies In Portadown Road Crash
An 18-year-old man has died following a collision in Portadown. The crash happened on the Dungannon Road between midnight and 12.30am on Wednesday, 08 November. The road has been re-opened. Elsewhere, a man, aged in his 30's, has died in a road collision in Co Antrim.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
