Phones Seized In Missing Boy Case

The ongoing probe into the disappearance and eventual discovery of a young Tyrone boy is continuing.

This week, it was revealed that mobile phones have been seized from the father, uncle and aunt of the 14-year-old schoolboy who was allegedly abducted.

The High Court heard that the boy was found hiding under a mattress at his relatives' home in Dungannon last week.

During his father's successful application for bail on Thursday, the court heard details of how call records are being analysed as part of an investigation into how he went missing for nearly two months.

Extensive inquiries and searches were carried out, but prosecutors alleged that his father offered no co-operation to police or social services.

In court, the boy's uncle and an aunt were accused of abduction, although none of them can be named to protect the boy's identity.

The High Court was told that the boy went missing last November while being cared for by another aunt.
