Children hurt as bus crashes in County Down

Several children were injured when a Northern Ireland school bus crashed on a notorious stretch of road on Friday.

The vehicle was involved in an accident on the Killyleagh Road at the Quoile Bridge near Downpatrick, County Down on Friday April 19.

A police spokesman said a number of children suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital by passing motorists. One child has sustained a broken arm.

It is understood no other vehicles were involved in the crash. (AMcE)
