Three New Victoria Square Stores
Three new retailers are coming to Belfast's multi-million pound Victoria Square shopping complex, it has been announced.
In recent months the centre has suffered from a succession of closures by high-profile retailers, including music store Zavvi and the Pier.
The announcements by luxury shoe shop Kurt Geiger, Italian denim retailers J-Four and Italian shirt brand 7camicie will be welcomed news for the centre, which opened its doors over a year ago.
It is believed the new outlets will open within the £400m award-winning complex over the summer.
Victoria Square's leasing firm, Multi Developments, said it was delighted to have secured the brands.
MD's Ron de Jager said the shops would "contribute to the ongoing success of the centre".

Fresh Jobs Land At Belfast Park Centre
Up to 21 new full and part-time jobs are set to be created in west Belfast after a local shopping centre, the Park Centre signed a trio of new tenants. The Park Centre, located on the Donegall Road just off the Broadway roundabout, now includes Specsavers, Feetish fish pedicure and one of the UK's largest card chains, Card Factory.

Derry City retailers prepare for €uro countdown
As part of the drive to ensure Derry city shops are ‘Euro-friendly’ by January 1, 2002, retailers are being encouraged to participate in advice seminars. Organised by City Centre Initiative and the North West Institute of Further & Higher Education, each seminar aims to advise retailers on currency exchange rates, cash handling and dual pricing.

Northern Ireland fit out specialist Mivan has announced a major recruitment drive following a host of new orders. The Antrim-based firm will create 100 new jobs, with the first Recruitment Open Day taking place on Saturday 28 January from 10am to 3pm at Mivan's headquarters in Antrim.

Okto Technologies has announced it will create 80 new jobs after the Lisburn-based smart buildings tech developer secured new contracts worth £25m. The NI firm currently employs some 100 people in NI, Dublin and London. It is understood they have secured new contracts in the high-end residential and hospitality sectors.
