Roberts Charged With Wife's Murder

A man has been charged over the death of his wife in Cheshire .

Vicky Roberts, 25, was found dead in her home last Thursday.

Police discovered her remains in the garage of a property on Partington Square, Daresbury, near Runcorn.

A post-mortem examination on Mrs Roberts's body indicated the cause of death was strangulation.

Her husband of six months, Michael Roberts, was arrested in Wrexham town centre, in north Wales, on Sunday.

The 26-year-old is due before Warrington Magistrates' Court later.

Mrs Robert's father contacted police last week after becoming concerned he had not heard from his daughter.
