Charges Over Stockport Murder
A woman has been charged in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in the River Tame.
Chelsea Platt, 18, of Furness Grove, Heaton Mersey, Stockport, has been charged with aiding and abetting murder.
She is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court on today (Friday 18 December 2009).
A 17-year-old boy has been bailed until 8 January 2010 pending further inquiries.
Shortly before 10am on Tuesday 1 December 2009, police were called to Reddish Country Park near Mill Lane following reports a man's body was in the river.
The victim has been formally identified as Martin Hyde, age 22.
A post-mortem examination concluded he died as a result of multiple injuries.
James Dellaway, 24, of Hollywood Towers, Stockport, and Lindsay Dunn, 20, of Hollywood Towers, Stockport, are charged with his murder.

Nurse Re-Arrested Over Poisoning And Murder
A 48-year-old nurse has been arrested in suspicion of three counts of murder, 18 counts of causing grievous bodily harm and poisoning of patients at Stockport's Stepping Hill Hospital. Victorino Chua, a father-of-two, was in custody in 2012 in connection with the tampering of medical records and contamination of intravenous medicines in 2011.

23-Year-Old Man Charged With Murder Of Two-Week-Old Baby
A 23-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a two-week old baby in Stockport, Greater Manchester Police have reported. It is understood that the ambulance service called police to an address on Shaw Road South at about 20:15 on Wednesday, 29 July. An ambulance had been called to reports that a baby had stopped breathing.

A woman has been dragged from her vehicle and raped in a car park in Manchester, police have said. The victim, who is in her late 20s, was parked in a John Lewis car park on 28 August in Cheadle, Stockport. At approximately 7pm, a man opened the door to the car, dragged the woman into some nearby bushes and raped her.
