23-Year-Old Man Charged With Murder Of Two-Week-Old Baby
A 23-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a two-week old baby in Stockport, Greater Manchester Police have reported.
It is understood that the ambulance service called police to an address on Shaw Road South at about 20:15 on Wednesday, 29 July. An ambulance had been called to reports that a baby had stopped breathing.
The child was taken to Stepping Hill Hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
A post mortem examination revealed that the baby had suffered multiple injuries.
Matthew Higham, of Shaw Road South, will appear before Stockport Magistrates' Court today.

Missing Baby Found 'Safe And Well'
A nine-month-old baby girl who was reported missing from her home in Glouchestershire on Monday has been found safe and well. Maylayah Delaney had been reported missing by her mother shortly before lunch-time on Monday. Police have confirmed that a man from the West Midlands is helping them with their inquiries.

Two officers from Lambeth have been praised after they helped deliver a baby this morning, Thursday 3 May. The father of the baby called police at 02:55hrs in a distressed state asking for officers to attend his home address in Knights Hill. He was at work in central London and wasn't with his wife.

The 22-year-old woman, who was in labour, was getting ready to leave her home with her partner to go to the hospital when a gang raided her home. She was hit with a baseball bat and slashed with a knife.
