Woman And Children Hurt In Suspected Knife Attack

A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a woman's dead body and four injured children.

According to police the body of a woman (37) was found in a house on Reinwood Road, Lindley, Huddersfield.

Four children where also found – a nine-year-old boy was found suffering a stab wound, a second nine-year-boy, an 11-year-old and a six month-olld baby girl.

The arrested man is also being treated at hospital for serious unjuries.

Woman And Children Found Dead In Stoke-on Trent
An investigation is underway following the discovery of the bodies of a woman and two children at a house in Stoke-on-Trent. Police say they made the discovery after being called to an address in Sherwin Road at about 18:35 on Sunday. A woman and two children were pronounced dead at the scene. No details of the victims have yet been released.

Woman And Children Found Dead In Harrow
Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of three bodies in Harrow. A woman and two children were found dead at a property on Woodgrange Close, north-west London on Thursday evening. At around 5.20pm, officers were called to reports of a woman and two children with injuries at the house where they discovered the bodies.

Woman Found Dead At Liverpool Property Identified
A woman found dead at a property in Huyton in Liverpool on Wednesday has been identified as being 45-year-old Michelle Teare. At about 12.50pm, emergency services were called to a property on Ashbury Road following the discovery of a body inside a property. Emergency services attended and found the body of Michelle Teare.

'Home Alone' Mother Arrested For Neglect
A woman accused of leaving her children 'home alone' while she went to Afghanistan, has been arrested. Thirty-three-year-old Simten Sadiq, of Leeds, was arrested on Tuesday evening at Heathrow, and taken to West Yorkshire for questioning over suspected wilful neglect.

One in ten children suffers mental disorder, study claims
One in ten children has a clinically recognisable mental disorder, a new survey has claimed. The survey of children, aged between 5 and 16 in private households in England, Scotland and Wales, was carried out by the Office of National Statistics, between March and June 2004.
