Woman Charged With Speke Stabbing

A woman has been charged with stabbing a man in Speke on Friday evening.

Lynsay Louise O'Hara, who is 19-years-old and from Wavertree, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm following the stabbing at a house in Upton Green.

The victim, who is 28, went into Speke police station after the incident, telling officers he had been stabbed in the ribs.

He was taken to hospital, where police said his condition is described as serious.

The house where the stabbing took place and the garden were sealed off for forensic examination and Speke police station was temporarily closed while crime scene investigators attended.

A 43-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were also arrested in connection with the incident but have since been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.

Nurse killed in hospital stabbing
A murder inquiry has been launched after a nurse was stabbed to death at a hospital. It is understood that the woman was attacked on parkland at the back of St George's Hospital in Hornchurch on Thursday morning. The woman, who has not been named, is understood to be aged in her 30s. Police said that she suffered multiple stab wounds.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder Over Wolverhampton Double Stabbing
A 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a double stabbing in Wolverhampton. Marcel Mowbray, of Eastfield Grove, is due to appear before Wolverhampton magistrates. A 57-year-old woman remains in hospital in a stable condition with wounds to her neck, while a 55-year-old man with injuries to his back has been released.
