Paedophile Used MP3 Player
A paedophile who kept images on his MP3 player as well as two computers has received a suspended sentence.
The 18-year-old, who was a juvenile when he committed the offences, was found in possession of 50 stills and 26 movies, some of which were graded 'level five' - the worst in severity.
The man, from Godmanchester in Huntingdonshire, was convicted of possession of indecent images and making indecent images on 10 February.
He was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court last week to 26 weeks detention suspended for 12 months with a supervision requirement for 12 months.
Detective Constable Tony Cox, from the force Paedophile Investigation Unit, said: "This is the first time we have found indecent child images on an MP3 player.
"Additionally, the defendant had them on a computer tower and laptop. The images and movies ranged from level one to the top level five and were of girls aged between five and 16."

Exeter Crown Court heard how the 52-year-old used the alias "Mr Grippy" when he exchanged extreme images to fellow paedophiles.

School IT Manager Jailed Over Indecent Images
A IT Manager at a school in Wales has been jailed following the discovery of 400,000 indecent images of children. Swansea's Crown Court today heard how Jeffrey Gravell, 54, had stolen computers from Coedcae Comprehensive in Llanelli, and used them to download the pictures and videos at his home.

Police have appealed for help in tracing 59-year-old Ali Hasan Soyer, who failed to appear for bail after he was arrested on suspicion of possessing/making indecent images of children. Soyer is wanted for questioning by officers from the Met's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command.
