Raoul Moat 'Accomplices' Appear In Court
Two alleged accomplices of Raoul Moat have appeared at Newcastle Crown Court charged with conspiracy to murder.
Karl Ness, 26, from Dudley, North Tyneside and Qhuram Awan, 23, from Blyth, Northumberland were also charged with possessing a firearm with intent.
The pair did not enter a plea and have been remanded in custody, to reappear in court in November.
Raoul Moat went on the run after shooting his former girlfriend Samantha Stobbart, 22, and killing her partner, Chris Brown, 29, in Birtley, Gateshead on July 3. The following day, he shot and wounded Pc David Rathband, 42. Moat died on July 10.

Licence 'Revoked' For Moat Taser Company
The Taser firm which supplied the weapon used during the Raoul Moat stand-off has had its licence revoked. An inquest into Raoul Moat's death has heard that the weapon employed was not licensed for distribution under the Firearms Act.

Four More Arrests In Raoul Moat Investigation
Police investigating the shootings carried out by Raoul Moat have arrested four more people on suspicion of firearms offences. A man and a woman were arrested in Blyth, while another man and a woman were arrested in Newcastle. All are being questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Woman Wanted In Connection With Birmingham Hit-And-Run
Police in Birmingham are hunting for a woman in connection with a fatal hit and run incident on Tuesday. A 68-year-old was hit by a car in Burney Lane, Alum Rock, just after 14:00 yesterday. She was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead at 17:20.
