Cornwall Blaze Body Identified
A body found after a house fire in Cornwall has been identified as that of a missing local woman. Corby Craze, 43, had been reported missing after a night out in Bodmin last Friday. Her body was then found at her home in Vivian Road following a fire in the early hours of Saturday morning. Police are continuing to question a 33-year-old man in connection with her murder, while a second man and a woman, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender also remain in custody. Police have also appealed for information regarding the blue Vauxhall Corsa, registration number M723 MLJ, which was owned by Ms Craze. The vehicle had two small white flower stickers on or near the petrol cap and a novelty sticker on the rear, stating 'my motor is mucking fagic'. Police are appealing for anyone who saw the car between 2pm on August 13 when it was parked in the driveway of the Vivian Road house and 3:40am on August 14, when it was found alight in Hillside Court in Bodmin, to contact them on: 08452 777444.
Man Dies In Lorry Collision
A man was killed in a road crash in Durham yesterday. Peter Jonathan Tighe, 26, of St. Mark's Court, Hartlepool died when the Nissan Micra in which he was a passenger collided with a lorry at a slip road on the A19 south of Sheraton around 8am on Tuesday morning. The driver of the Micra, a 26-year-old woman from Hartlepool, was taken to North Tees Hospital with back and neck injuries, but she has now been released. Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on: 0191 375 2159.
Air Rifle Dad 'Shoots' Toddler
A two-year-old boy is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after being shot by his father with an air rifle in Skegness. The incident happened around 7pm on Monday night in Winthorpe. The toddler underwent surgery in Glenfield Hospital on Tuesday morning and is condition is said to be improving. A 29-year-old man, understood to be the boy's father, was arrested, but has been released on police bail. Durham police said that all the indications were that the shooting was an accident.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Police in Fife have appealed for information into an ongoing investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Glenrothes. Police discovered the body of Aleksandrs Sokolovs (29) inside a property on Tummel Road on Monday. The death of the Latvian-national is being treated as suspicious.

Man Arrested Over McKenna Killing
A 46-year-old man is being questioned by police in relation to an attack which left a man dead and his son seriously injured. Graham McKenna, 45, and his 14-year-old son Michael were stabbed on Upton Road in Claughton, Wirral, Merseyside.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a three-year-old girl. The toddler was brought to hospital on Friday but died in the early hours of Saturday morning.
