7/7 Evidence To Be Released By MI5
The coroner at the heart of the 7/7 inquests has stated she cannot hear top secret intelligence reports in closed sessions.
At the inquests for the 52 victims of the 7/7 bombings, Lady Justice Hallett rejected arguments by MI5 lawyers to exclude the victim's families from the hearings to examine sensitive documents that would damage national security.
However she stated that secret evidence could be edited and that lives would not be put at risk.
She said: "I am still hopeful that with full co-operation on all sides, most if not all of the relevant material can and will be put before me in such a way that national security is not threatened."

The memorial in Hyde Park to the victims of the 7/7 attacks has been deface with graffiti, on the eve of the anniversary. Phrases were painted onto several of the pillars in red and black paint. Today marks nine years since the bombing attacks in London.
