Two Arrested After Attempted Smash And Grab

Police are investigating an attempted burglary at the Chanel store on Monday.

The business premises, based on Old Bond Street in London, were attacked around 11.15pm.

Six suspects, all wearing crash helmets, on three high-powered motorbikes were trying to break in to the premises.

During the attempted burglary, officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Westminster Crime Squad arrested two males.

One of the suspects, 23, was injured during the incident and taken to a central London hospital with a non-life-threatening leg injury. He remains in hospital.

The other suspect, 21, was arrested and taken to a central London police station.

Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the incident.

At this stage it is not believed that any items were taken from the store by the suspects.

Two 'bomb suspects' arrested
Two suspects in last week's attempted bomb attacks in London have been arrested after armed police surrounded two properities in London. It is believed that the two suspects are responsible for the attemped bombings of a Tube train between Oval Street and Stockwell stations and the Number 26 bus in Hackney last week.

Nine arrested in anti-terror raids
Nine people have been arrested in south London, as the investigation into the attempted bomb attacks in the capital last week continues. Police raided two properties in Tooting early on Thursday morning. Six men were arrested at one address, while three others were arrested at the second property.

Police Continue To Question Suspects Over Becky Watts Murder
Police have been granted more time to question two suspects arrested on suspicion of the murder of Becky Watts, 16, in Bristol. The man and woman currently remain in custody and can be questioned until this afternoon (Wednesday).

Pakistan Family Murder Suspects Flee
A deadly family feud has led to two brothers going missing. The pair are believed to have been part of a four-strong gang who shot dead a Lancashire family in Pakistan. Police have said the suspects - understood to be both related to the victims - were initially released on "protective bail" but have since failed to attend court.

Five Terror Suspects Arrested In Dawn Swoops
Police in Birmingham have arrested five terrorism suspects during early morning raids across the city. The men, believed to be aged between 29 and 36, are being held under anti-terrorism law. Police said the suspects are being detained for alleged involvement in the "commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism.
