Tent Fumes Kill Woman In Wales

A woman has died after being overcome by fumes in a tent with her family in a campsite in Wales.

North Wales Police were called to a caravan site in Gym Goch, Caernarfon, around 9:30am on Monday to assist paramedics who were attending the scene.

The family of four, including two children, aged four and seven, had been overcome by fumes within the tent.

The mother, Tracey Anne Elizabeth Screen, 34, from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, was declared dead at the scene. The children and their father, who is believed to be in his 30s, are recovering in hospital and may be discharged later today.

A post-mortem will take place to confirm the cause of the woman's death, but police said that it is not being treated as suspicious.

An inquest into Ms Screen's death has been opened and injured.
