C4 To Air Michael Jackson Trial Documentary

Channel 4 is set to air a documentary about the relationship of Dr Conrad Murray with pop sensation Michael Jackson.

The broadcast date the documentary will hit the screens has yet to be confirmed but it is understood that it will be some time next week.

Michael Jackson and The Doctor (working title) follows the news that Murray has been found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Jackson in 2009.

Producer October Films had access to Murray in 2009 prior to him being charged and has continued to record with him during the trial.

Award-winning director Tom Roberts's project explores the events surrounding the final months and death of the pop legend and his fatal relationship with Murray, who was picked by Jackson to care for himself and his children.

"When 'What's it all about?' productions secured access to Dr Murray in 2009, we knew that this would be an incredibly compelling film about 21st Century celebrity justice," said Executive Producer Leon Lecash.
