Chiles And Bleakley Bow Out

Today axed Daybreak presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley have bowed out of the show.

The exit was low key with both presenters wishing viewers a merry Christmas and a happy new year and paying tribute to production staff.

The ITV breakfast show presenters are now both off in different directions with Chiles concentrating on football and Bleakley hitting the ice- to take on the role of presenting- Dancing on Ice.

Their exit was confirmed in November after the show struggled to improve on the audience ratings for its predecessor GMTV. It was widely thought that the audience failed to warm to the two hosts, who joined the show last year.
