Three Charged After Assault
Three people have been charged after an assault in Newcastle.
It follows an incident which happened on February 11, 2012, when two men assaulted a 43-year-old man by punching him in the face inside a flat at Rosedale Court.
And the previous weekend, on February 4, the same victim had a television stolen and was assaulted at a house in Etal Lane, resulting in a broken nose and wound to his eye, which required hospital treatment.
A 20-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft and criminal damage.
Another 20-year-old has been charged with common assault, theft and criminal damage, while a 19-year-old has been charged with theft.
All three are now going through the court process.

Five Charges Following Royal Wedding
Following 55 arrests on Friday during the Royal Wedding, five people have been charged. John Dobson, 32, from Lancashire has been charged with going equipped to cause criminal damage. Terry Butts, 26, from Surrey was charged with a racially aggravated offence under the Public Order Act.

Three Leicester players charged over sex assault
Three players with the Premiership club Leicester City have been charged with sexual aggression and breaking and entering following an alleged incident at a hotel in Spain. Scotland international Paul Dickov, Northern Ireland international Keith Gillespie, and Frank Sinclair have been told that they will face trial.
