Man Jailed For Contaminating Painkillers

A man who was found guilty of contaminating painkillers with anti-psychotic drugs has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Christopher McGuire, 30, of no fixed address, was jailed after tampering with five packs of Nurofen Plus.

Four packets of the drugs in London were found to contain the Seroquel XL 50mg and one pack in Northern Ireland contained prescription medicine for epilepsy.
