Police Searching For Missing Teenager Appeal For iPhone

Police searching for missing schoolgirl Alice Gross have appealed for help in tracing her missing iPhone, which they saw could contain vital information for their search.

The 14-year-old has been missing for more than two weeks.

Her rucksack was found near a towpath next to the River Brent between Hanwell Bridge and Grand Union Canal on 02 September. Her iPhone was not with the bag.

Police say that Ms Gross sent her father a text at about 15:00 on 28 August from the phone, which they know remained switched on until 17:00.

It is understood that 32 detectives and 170 officers are currently working on her disappearance.
