Newcastle Police Appeal For Help Tracing Two Missing People
Police in Newcastle have appealed for the public's help in tracing two missing people.
63-year-old MaryAnn Cook has been missing since Tuesday 09 June, when she was last seen leaving her home in Oakfield Gardens.
It is known that Ms Cook travelled by taxi to Central Station, but she failed to return home and has not been seen since.
She is described as between between 5' 6" and 5' 8" tall, of medium build, with grey hair normally worn in a bun. When last seen, she was wearing black trousers, a grey or black and white top and had a black handbag. She was also possibly carrying a small corduroy overnight bag with autumn flowers on it.
Inspector Nicola Wearing said: "It has now been nine days since MaryAnn went missing and there are growing concerns about her welfare. We know she was dropped off near Central Station last Tuesday and would ask anyone who saw her, or who has seen her since or has information about where she is, to please speak to police.
"Likewise, if anyone saw MaryAnn in the days running up to her going missing we would ask them to contact us."
Police have also appealed for help in tracing 49-year-old Roderick Spence, who has not be seen since 06 June. He is described as being of slim build, 5' 3" tall, with short dark hair and speaks with a very strong Welsh accent.
Officers are carrying out enquiries to find him and are asking Roderick, anyone who has seen him, or has information about where he is, to get in contact.Anyone with information should contact Northumbria Police on 101.

West Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal for help tracing 16-year-old Simran Mehrose, who has gone missing in Bradford. Simran was last seen at about 20:40 on Thursday night on Birch Avenue, West Bowling. She is described as being Asian with a light complexion, 5ft 4ins tall, slim, with long black straight hair and brown eyes.

Missing Schoolgirl Found On Isle of Wight
Hampshire Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old schoolgirl has been found "safe and well". The teenager from Southhampton was last seen on Saturday on the Isle of Wight. She is said to have been in the company of a man. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, police have said.
