Tour De France Winner Injured In Collision

Britain's Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins has been hospitalised after an accident outside a petrol station.

Wiggins, 32, damaged his ribs after being knocked off his bike by a white vehicle at 6pm in Wrightington.

The four-time Olympic champion injuries 'are not thought to be serious' according to Team Sky and he's expected to make a full and speedy recovery."

Man Released In Boxer Shooting Investigation
A 22-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the shooting of former British heavyweight boxing champion James Oyebola has been released on bail. The man was arrested in Putney, west London on Tuesday. Meanwhile, another man, who was arrested at Gatwick Airport on Wednesday is continuing to be questioned by police.
