Murder Appeal Generates 25 New Leads
Police have gained 25 new leads in an investigation into the disappearance of an 18-year-old woman in Coventry 21 years ago.
Nicola Payne was last seen in the Henley Green area of the city on 14 December 1991.
A search for remains in June near Purcell Road in Coventry by West Midlands Police did not uncover any new evidence.
Police say the appeal for renewed information in December led to a huge response on social media sites.
Miss Payne was last seen leaving Winston Avenue on the way back from her boyfriend's family home. She had a six-month-old baby at the time.
No-one has ever been charged in connection with the case.
Devon Teenager Stabbed
A teenager has been stabbed in the chest in Devon.
Police say the 17-year-old has undergone surgery for injuries he received in an attack outside a Co-op near George Street in the Mount Wise area of Plymouth at about 20:00 on Saturday.
It is thought the altercation involved about five people.
A 22 and 21-year-old have been arrested along with another man, but have been released on bail until 26 March.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
Shane Warne Caught Speeding
Australian cricketer Shane Warne has been fined £500 after admitting speeding on a motorway in the south of Scotland.
He is thought to have exceeded speeds of 100mph.
Mr Warne has escaped a driving ban, but already had five penalty points on his licence.
The 43-year-old was represented by solicitor Graham Walker.
He was driving on an Australian licence at the time.
Hospital In Wales Imposes Visiting Restrictions Over Flu
A hospital in Pembrokeshire in Wales has imposed visiting restrictions following a flu outbreak.
Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest has halted afternoon visits and restricted evening visits to two per patient.
Only essential visitors are being allowed on ward 11 at any time.
The restrictions have been imposed to prevent the spread of infection and protect staff and patients.
Health officials have urged anyone suffering from flu-like symptoms not to visit.

A British teenager has received a lifetime ban from visiting the US after he sent an offensive email to President Barack Obama. Luke Angel, 17, from Silsoe in Bedfordshire, is reported to have sent the email to the White House while drunk after watching a programme about the 9/11 attacks.

Portuguese police are reportedly examining a copy of Madeleine McCann's mother's diary as they continue to investigate the four-year-old's disappearance. The BBC reported that police are examining a photocopy of Kate McCann's private diary, as well as a laptop belonging to her husband, Gerry.
