Pryce Went To Press For Revenge
Vicky Pryce has admitted at her retrial that she went to the press with the story of accepting her husband's speeding points because she wanted revenge.
When asked by Andrew Edis QC, prosecuting, if her "chosen weapon" was the points, she replied: "Yes, absolutely right."
She denies perverting the course of justice by taking points for the ex-Lib Dem minister in 2003.
Her trial was halted last week after the jury failed to reach a verdict.
Four Einstein Letters Make Over £7,000 At Auction
Four previously undiscovered letters written by Albert Einstein have sold at auction for more than £7,000.
The Nobel prizewinner wrote the letters to the socialist philosopher Corliss Lamont, who was accused by the senator Joseph McCarthy of being "un-American" for his suggestions that the US should maintain a relationship with the Soviet Union.
The four previously undiscovered letters, which were found in a yard sale, were sold to three separate bidders for a total of £7,688.70, including buyer's premium, said the Guernsey-based PFC Auctions. They had been expected to fetch £3,200.
94kg Of Dried Caterpillars Found In Luggae At Gatwick
A haul of dried caterpillars has been seized at Gatwick Airport during a luggage check.
A 22-year-old man travelling from Burkina Faso via Istanbul was stopped on Saturday with 94kg (207lb) of dried caterpillars in four hessian bags.
The man claimed the tens of thousands of caterpillars were to be used as food and were for personal consumption.
The UK Border Force said it was among the largest finds of its kind at the airport.

Life Sentence For Claire Tiltman Murderer
Colin Ash-Smith has been sentenced to life for the murder of 16-year-old Claire Tiltman in 1993. Ash-Smith was already serving three life sentences for attacks on two other women when he was charged with the murder of the Kent schoolgirl. Claire Tiltman was found stabbed to death in an alleyway in Greenhithe, four days after her sixteenth birthday.

An attempt to overthrown a landmark civil court ruling - which held Real IRA leader Michael McKevitt liable for the 1998 Omagh bombing - has been thrown out of court. Today, he lost his appeal in Belfast as the court upheld the 2009 ruling against both McKevitt and a second accused, Liam Campbell.

Husband Remanded Over Kirsty Murder
The husband of a model whose body was found alongside a motorway has appeared in court today, charged with her murder. Kirsty Grabham, 24, of Mount Pleasant, Swansea, went missing on 28 March after a night out with her friends.

Home Office reports on worst police forces
Humberside and Northamptonshire have been named the worst performing police forces in England and Wales, according to a new report from the Home Office. The two constabularies came bottom, gaining three points out of a potential 21, with Nottinghamshire immediately above them, scoring four points.
