'Millionaire' cheat back in court

Major Charles Ingram, recently convicted of obtaining money by deception from TV's 'Who Wants To Be a Millionaire', is again up in court, accused with dishonest dealings with two insurance companies.

The Royal Engineer appeared before Salisbury Crown Court on two charges of dishonesty. One relates to an insurance policy with Zurich Municipal - he is accused by lying about his insurance history in his application.

Major Ingram is also accused of having taken out a policy with Direct Line insurance in July 2001 by lying about the number of insurance claims he had made in the previous three years.

Major Ingram pleaded not guilty to both charges, and the case was adjourned for a further preliminary hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on June 5.

He was remanded on unconditional bail.
