Two Men Charged With Cocaine Offences
Two men have been charged with attempting to smuggle cocaine into the UK.
The men are British nationals and were arrested at Gatwick Airport yesterday morning.
Calvin Campbell, 62, and Donald Garwood, 82, both from Tottenham were arrested by Border Force officers at the South terminal at around 10.30am.
It is understood they had arrived on a flight from Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Between them, they are suspected of trying to smuggle an estimated two kilos of cocaine, with a potential street value of around £200,000.
The pair, who remain in Border Force custody, were charged with attempting to import a class A drug. They are expected to appear before Uxbridge Magistrates.
Rebekah Brooks Bodyguard Charged
The Crown Prosecution Service has said a bodyguard for former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks is to be charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice,.
David Johnson faces charges in relation to investigations into phone hacking and payments to public officials.
He is accused of conspiring to hide computers and other items from the police between 15 and 19 July 2011.
It is alleged that Mr Johnson conspired with six people, including the former newspaper executive and her husband Charlie, who have already been charged.
The charges were made under Operation Sacha. Operation Sacha is Scotland Yard's investigation into allegations of perverting the course of justice relating to Operation Weeting, its phone hacking inquiry, and Operation Elveden, which is investigating alleged payments to public officials by journalists.
Johnson will appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on 8 May 2013.
Ticketmaster to Sell Commonwealth Games Tickets
Ticketmaster has been selected to sell around one million tickets for various sporting events at next year's Commonwealth Games.
The company, which is also a sponsor of the games, will be responsible for online and telephone sales as well as a number of box office outlets at the venues being used across Glasgow.
Further details are to be released later this month.
Glasgow 2014 Deputy Chief Executive, Ty Speer, said: "The summer of 2014 will see the eyes of the world focus on Scotland, as one of the world's greatest sporting events comes to Glasgow.
"It is incredibly important we have a services provider which can successfully meet our commitment to deliver outstanding games with packed stadia and through a fair and simple ticketing strategy.
"Ticketmaster has a wealth of experience in delivering ticketing for major sporting events and we are looking forward to working with them in the months to come."

People charged for phone calls made to try and secure Commonwealth Games tickets, but only got an engaged tone, are to be given refunds. It was discovered that callers where charged despite not being able to get through, a mistake that organisers of the Games, Glasgow 2014, have apologised for.

Mobile provide EE is to refund around £1m to a number of customers wrongly charged VAT between October 2012 and October 2014. It is understood that EE customers who travelled outside the EU during those dates and used internet data were affected by the charges. The company estimated it as being about 0.5% of its customers.
