Pork Found In Halal Burger
Halal burgers have been removed from schools in Leicester after traces of pork were found.
Tests were carried out on the burgers following the horsemeat scandal.
It is understood the burger was one of a batch made by a Doncaster-based company in January.
The products have now been removed from 19 schools in the area.
Assistant city mayor Vi Dempster said: "I am appalled by this situation. It is disgraceful that none of us can have confidence in the food we eat."
British Man Dies In Dubai Fall
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has confirmed a man from Britain has died in Dubai.
Elwood Floyd McIlwraith is understood to have fallen to his death from a balcony. He is believed to have been working as a fitness instructor.
An FCO spokesman said: "We were made aware of the death of a British national, Elwood Floyd McIlwraith, in Dubai on 4 May.
"We are providing consular assistance to his family at this difficult time."
According to the Gulf News, the 29-year-old former Royal Navy sailor from Hull fell from the 42-storey Laguna Tower.
It is not clear if he was living in the building and an investigation into his death is continuing.
Trial Continues For Tia Sharp Murder Accused
The man accused of murdering 12-year-old Tia Sharp is said to have tried to blame neighbours for her death.
A court heard Stuart Hazell also said he had been "fitted up" by police, the BBC has said.
They also were told how a police officer said Mr Hazell insisted someone had moved the young girl's body into the loft where she was eventually found.
Tia's body was found in the loft of the home that Hazell shared with Tia's grandmother Christine Bicknell, a week after she died. It is alleged that he sexually assaulted Tia before killing her and hiding her body.
Paul Leahy, who worked at Belmarsh Prison when Hazell was brought there last year, told the Old Bailey: "He said that the police had fitted him up and he claimed that there were six people to see her after him."
He said Hazell had insisted that someone had moved Tia's body into the space above his house as the loft interlinked with others.
Leahy added that he was told by Hazell: "What the press don't tell you is that all six or eight houses have joint lofts."
Mr Leahy added that the accused also admitted to having an anger problem, and "when people say wrong things to me, I can flip.
"I just feel like hurting everyone."
The case continues.
