Stuart Hall Sentenced To 15 Months For Sexually Abusing Girls
Stuart Hall has been sentenced to 15 months in jail on 14 charges of sexually abusing girls.
The 83-year-old former BBC broadcaster and presenter, pleaded guilty to the offences, which took place between 1967 and 1985.
When charged, Hall had called the allegations against him "pernicious, callous, cruel and above all spurious".
It is understood that Hall had used his position as a BBC presenter to instigate some of his crimes.
One of his victims was 9-years-old.
Concerns over the leniency of the sentence have already been raised. A referral to the Court of Appeal on such grounds must be made within 28 days.

Morris Petch, 50, was told he would serve a minimum of 12 years behind bars for the rape of the girls in Edinburgh. Lord Malcolm described Petch, who was convicted earlier this year, as a "serious risk to the public".
