Two Die In Light Aircraft Crash

An investigation has been launched after a light aircraft crashed in Leicestershire killing two people onboard.

Leicestershire Police have said that the crash happened on Sunday evening at around 18:45 in a field in Fenny Drayton.

Two people onboard the plane were confirmed dead at the scene.

Police are trying to establish where the plane took off from on Sunday.

Air Accidents Investigation Branch are due to examine the scene today.

Police investigating the murder of black teenager Anthony Walker have revealed that they are seeking three other people in connection with his death. The 18-year-old A-Level student was found dead in McGoldrick Park in Merseyside on July 29. He had been attacked with an axe.

Light Aircraft Crash - Two Killed
An investigation has been launched into a light aircraft crash near the M25 in Essex on Monday in which two people were killed. A 43-year-old man and a three-year-old girl were killed when the single-engine four-seater plane crashed into a field on the M25 at Navestock, near Brentwood in Essex, around 4pm on Monday.

Bodies To Be Removed From Crash Scene
The remains of five people killed when a private jet crashed into a housing estate in Kent, are being removed today. The Cessna light aircraft, with two pilots and three passengers on board, crashed at around 2.30pm after taking off from Biggin Hill Airport to Pau, south of France to test a Jaguar XKR race car.
