Investigation Launched Into Body Found In Suitcase
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a suitcase in north-west London.
Police have said that the body was discovered when officers searched a sports ground in Thornfield Avenue, Mill Hill, at around 5pm on Sunday evening.
The death is being treated as murder.
The body, described as that of a young adult female, has not yet been identified and a post-mortem examination is to be arranged.
The investigation is ongoing.

Police in Manchester have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body on Friday morning. Police say that the body of a 38-year-old man was found outside a property on Otter Drive in Cheetham Hill at about 07:30 this morning. They say that the man had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

Police have launched a murder investigation, following the discovery of the body of a British student in Thailand. The body of Katherine Horton, 21, was found in the sea of the island of Koh Samui yesterday morning. She had last been seen on Sunday night, walking along the beach, reportedly talking to her family on her mobile phone.
