Three Die In Bradford Crash

Three people have died after a car crashed into a hairdressers' studio in Bradford.

Police have said that a black Mitsubishi Evo crashed into the stone building near the junction of Thornton Road and Kipping Lane just after 11pm on Monday.

The driver, a 27-year-old man from Denholme, Keighley, a 19-year-old woman from Denholme and a 32-year-old man from Thornton, Bradford, all died.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the crash or any one in the area at the time to contact them.

Four arrested following Beeb's BNP documentary
Four men have been arrested today following the broadcast of a BBC documentary on the British National Party. A 23-year-old Bradford man was arrested in connection with racially aggravated public order offences, and a 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old man, both from Keighley, were arrested in connection with conspiracy to commit damage.

Body Parts 'Match' Missing Bradford Woman
Police in West Yorkshire have confirmed that human remains found in the River Aire are those of missing Bradford woman, Suzanne Blamires. The body parts were recovered from the river in Shipley on Tuesday, after being discovered by a member of the public who then reported the find to police.

Police Search For 14-Year-Old After Teacher Stabbed In Bradford
Police in Bradford are searching for a 14-year-old boy in connection with a stabbing at a school this morning. Police were called to Dixons Kings Academy just before 9am to reports that a teacher had been stabbed. The 50-year-old male teacher suffered a stab wound to his body. He is currently in a stable condition in hospital.

Police Search Bradford Home Of Paul Flowers
Police in West Yorkshire have searched the Bradford home of former Co-op Bank chairman Paul Flowers. It is part of an ongoing investigation into allegations that Flowers, a Methodist minister, bought illegal drugs. Mr Flowers is under investigation after he was filmed allegedly buying drugs. The 63-year-old has apologised for the incident.
