Liverpool Teenager Arrested In Connection With Armed Bank Robbery
A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a bank in Liverpool.
It is understood that a branch of Barclays bank in Breck Road was robbed at gunpoint at around 11:50am on Friday.
A Merseyside police spokesperson has confirmed that the teenager, said to be from the Anfield area, was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and is being question by police.

Attempted Armed Robbery On Bookmakers Crumlin Road
Detectives in Grosvenor Road are appealing for witnesses following an attempted armed robbery of a Bookmakers shop in the Crumlin Road area around teatime on Wednesday. Shortly after 6pm it was reported that a male aged between 18 and 20 entered the premises and smashed a pane of security glass at the counter in an attempt to steal money.

Detectives from Trident have today issued an E-fit following an attempted armed robbery in Canning Town, east London on Monday 21 February. Police were called at approximately 5.30pm following reports of shots fired at a woman sitting in her car on Ivy Road.

One of the five men accused of murdering Pc Sharon Beshenivsky, 25-year-old Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, has pleaded guilty. The other four defendants, Yusuf Abdillh Jamma, 20, Raza Ul-Haq Aslam, 25, Faisal Razzaq, 25 and his 26-year-old brother Hassan Razzaq, deny murder.

Police in Birmingham are investigating an armed robbery at a bank in Handsworth. The incident happened about 5.30pm on Tuesday at the UAE Exchange Bank in Soho Road, Birmingham. Around five offenders were involved in the robbery which began with the theft of a small digger used for grave digging at Handsworth Cemetery.
