Two Jailed Over Mosque Arson Attack

Two men, who admitted arson with reckless endangerment to life, have been jailed over an attack on a mosque in Gloucester.

In June petrol was poured around the door of the Masjid-E-Noor mosque on Ryecroft Street and set on fire.

20-year-old Ashley Juggins, of Brooklyn Road, Cheltenham was sentenced to 42 months in prison, and 37-year-old Clive Ceronne, of Redwood Close, Gloucester was jailed for 54 months at Gloucester Crown Court.

The two men are understood to have been member of the English Defence League at the time of the attack, which was described as a "premeditated and motivated by racial aggravation".
