Man Arrested Over M5 Body
A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a body near the M5 in 2009.
Officers investigating the murder of 25-year-old Melanie Hall arrested the man at his Bath home last week, police have reported.
A search was also carried out at a property in Roundhill Park, Whiteway – understood to be a property previously occupied by the suspect.
Miss Hall, a hospital clerical worker from Bath, was last seen leaving a nightclub in 1996.
Her body was then found on a motorway slip road on 05 October 2009.
The police confirmed the arrest and that the suspect had been released on bail until 19 December.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

Police investigating the abduction of a six-year-old girl from her bath last December have arrested a man. A 34-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday morning at an address in Blyth, Northumberland, on suspicion of abduction and serious sexual assault. A 25-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Police investigating the murder of Melanie Hall have arrested a 39-year-old man. Melanie, 25, from Wiltshire, disappeared in 1996 after a night out at Cadillac's nightclub in Bath. Her remains were found on a slip road near Junction 14 of the M5 in South Gloucestershire last October.

Police Release Car Image In Bath Murder Investigation
Detectives in Bath has released an image of a car which may be connected to the murder of a 22-year-old man. Ben Foster was found in Ringswell Gardens, Bath on Sunday evening with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he died of a stab wound to the body.
