Man Airlifted To Hospital Following Stabbing
A man has been airlifted to hospital after he was stabbed in Pontypridd.
The incident happened at around 12.30pm in the Taff Street area on Wednesday.
In a statement, South Wales Police said Sardis Road was temporarily closed in order to allow an air ambulance to land.
Officers have said the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, but "early indications suggest the man was assaulted."
The extent of his injuries are not yet known.

Police Shoot Man Following Stabbing Incident In Hersden
A man has been shot by police after being called to attend an incident in Hersden where a woman was stabbed. Police initially attended the scene at around 11.20pm on Sunday followed by firearms officers and police negotiators. The man and woman, who are members of the same family, are both in a critical condition in hospital.

A man has been arrested after a woman in her 40s and two teenage girls were stabbed at a house in Little Green Lane, Small Heath, Birmingham in a suspected domestic incident. The police were called by a resident who reported hearing screams from the house at around 7.20am.

Police in Cornwall are seeking a gang of men after a man was attacked and stabbed in Cornwall. The incident happened on Friday afternoon in the Braeside Park area of Dobwalls. A 27-year-old man was approached on the driveway of a house by four men who'd arrived at the scene in a light blue Ford Fiesta.
