Police Search For Three-Year-Old Missing From Home

A search operation has been launched in Edinburgh for a three-year-old boy who has gone missing from his home.

It is understood that Mikael Kular was put to bed at his home in Ferry Gait in Edinburgh at around 21:00 on Wednesday. However, when his family woke on Thursday morning he was not in the house.

Police have appealed to the public for any information saying: "We are keen to hear from anyone who remembers seeing a young boy matching his description since yesterday evening to contact police immediately.

"As part of our investigation we are also trying to determine how the child has left his home and anyone with information that can assist with these inquiries is also asked to get in touch."

Mikael is described as around 3ft tall and possibly wearing a beige hooded jacket, brown shoes and nightwear.
