Helicopter Operator Begins Making Payments To Clutha Crash Victims
Victims of the Clutha helicopter crash have begun to receive interim payments from the company that operated the police helicopter.
Bond Air Services accepted liability for losses suffered by those killed or injured when the Police Scotland helicopter crashed into the roof on the Glasgow bar at around 22:25 on 29 November.
The payments are intended to cover loss of salary while full compensation is agreed.
Nida Naseer Family Make Video Appeal To Missing Teen
The family of missing teenager Nida Naseer have made a video appeal for her to contact them.
Nida has not been seen since 28 December when she went missing from her home in Pill, Newport, as she was putting out the bins.
On the eve of her 19th birthday her father Naseer Tahir said: "It has been more than three weeks and we still have not found any clue we are very worried about Nida's safety and we are appealing again and again.
"We just want you to back Nida, we are missing you Nida, if you are listening we want you back. Nida come back, we love you. Nida come back. Please come back."
Police Officer In Stable Condition After Shooting Himself With Own Gun
A police officer is in stable condition in hospital after shooting himself with his own gun.
The Metropolitan Police have reported that the officer injured himself when his police-issue firearm discharged at about 09:00 on Monday.
The force have not confirmed a report by the Evening Standard, which said the officer accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Police Renew Appeal For Missing Nida Naseer
Police still have no information on the whereabouts of a 19-year-old woman who disappeared from outside her home while putting the bins out. Nida Naseer has not been seen since around 20:00 on Saturday 28 December. Ms Naseer was not wearing shoes and did not have her phone, money or coat with her when she disappeared.

Renewed Appeal For Missing Teenager
The family of missing teenager Nida Ul-Naseer have made a fresh appeal for her to return home. Nida, 18, disappeared from her home 11 days ago with no possessions after she took out the bins at her home. Her disappearance has been described as "particularly out of character".
