Talks Resume Between LU and Union Reps

Negotiators representing London Underground (LU) have resumed talks with union officials in an effort to avert a planned 48-hour Tube strike.

Conciliation service Acas are hosting the talks, which are now entering their 11th day. The dispute is over plans to close LU ticket offices.

Following strike action held last week by RMT and TSSA members, a second 48-hour strike is due to begin tonight at 21:00.

Transport for London have said back up services are in place should the strike action go ahead.

A published list of the services running has been published on the Transport for London website.
