Murder Investigation Launched After Body Found In Flat

A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a flat in Glasgow.

The body of 48-year-old Angela Humphrey was found a flat in Quarrywood Avenue, Barmulloch, at about 16:40 on Wednesday, police have said.

It is understood that Ms Humphrey had not been seen since last Friday (21 February).

Police say her last known whereabouts at 13:00 on Friday was in Balbeggie Street in Sandyhills. They have appealed for anyone who saw her to come forward to help them establish her movements after this time.

Relatives of Ms Humphrey discovered her body after being concerned that she had not been in contact.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them.

Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body at a flat believed to be the home of an MI6 employee. The body of the man, who is white and in his 30s, was found in a sports bag in the bathroom of the top floor flat in Alderney Street in Pimlico, central London on Monday afternoon.

Christopher Foster, 50, his wife Jill, 49, and their 15-year-old daughter Kirstie had not been seen since the arson attack last Tuesday at Osbaston House, a large country estate in Shropshire. Five Arrested After Body Found In North London
Five people have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a woman's body in Enfield, north London. Police responded to reports of an unresponsive female at a flat in Gainsborough House, Ayley Croft, shortly after 21:00 on Thursday, 17 September. Officers and London Ambulance Service found the body of a 25-year-old woman inside the flat.
