David Cameron Wants Boris Back In His Team

David Cameron has called on Boris Johnson to return to the Parliament and stand at the next General Election despite the Mayor being due to be run the city until May 2016, with the General Election being held in May next year.

The Prime Minister said in a interview with The Sun: "I want him to get back in Parliament. I think he's great. It's a bit like football, if you have got a great striker you want him on the pitch.”

"It's up to him. He can complete as Mayor, or he can stay on as Mayor and come back to the House. I want him on the team", Mr Cameron added while speculations that Boris Johnson wants to succeed David Cameron as Conservative Leader have been rising.

Cameron responded the rumours saying that "There is nothing ignoble about wanting my job."
