The £7.5m plant near St Asaph, will take waste from Flintshire, Conwy and Denbighshire, with the capacity to process 22,500 tonnes of food per year and power up to 1,500 homes.

Biogen, who are building the facility, have said the plant is expected to be fully operation by the summer.
