Firearms Incident In Lincoln
Police in Lincoln have issued an appeal for information following a firearms incident in the area.
At around 8.30pm on Wednesday (2 April), police received a report that a man had been shot in the lip with an air rifle. The incident took place on Ruckland Avenue, Lincoln.
The victim, who suffered a cut lip and broken tooth in the attack, was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and is currently in custody.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101.
Appeal Following Robbery In Huddersfield
West Yorkshire Police has appealed for witnesses following a robbery in Huddersfield.
The incident happened at around 2.20am on Trinity Street on Wednesday (2 April).
A women, aged 27, and a friend were approached by a man as they were walking home. He is said to have threatened them while holding a shiny object, which could have been a knife. He demanded cash, then grabbed the pockets of the victim, causing her to hand over some money. Her friend, also female, attempted to flag down a passing car, police have said.
The suspect then fled the scene.
The women were not injured in the incident, but have been left shaken.
The suspect has been described as white, around 25-years-old and very slim. He had very slight stubble, a distinctive gaunt face, and spoke with a local accent. He was also wearing a black jacket with the hood up and dark coloured jogging bottoms.
Detective Constable Andy Clayton said: "We are appealing for witnesses to this robbery and would like to speak to anyone who saw the offence or may be able to identify the suspect.
"I am also keen to speak with the driver of the white car which the victim's friend attempted to flag down, as it is possible the driver may well have witnessed the offence."

Concern Mounts For Missing Teenager
Officers investigating the disappearance of a teenager in Leicester are continuing with their inquiries.
Ana Simeonova, 15, was last seen by a family member in the Lee Circle area of Leicester at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 25 March. She was reported missing later that night.
She has been described as white, about 5'7" tall, of heavy build, with very long dark hair. When last seen she was wearing a black long jumper/cardigan and black leggings.
Inspector Ben Gillard of Leicestershire Police's city area, said: "Ana has not been seen for more than a week now and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
"Officers have been conducting house to house enquiries and searches in the Lee Circle area yesterday and those enquiries will continue today.
"Ana may have left home of her own accord and we would urge her to contact the police to let us know she is safe and well, Ana you are not in any trouble but we will continue looking for you until we can confirm that you are alright.
"Ana has only been in the country for a month and cannot speak or read English, posters and leaflets are being distributed in the area in Turkish and Polish and we are hoping that Ana or someone who knows where she is contacts the police immediately."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police on 101 or missing people on 116 000.
Man Assaulted In Bristol City Centre
Avon and Somerset Constabulary have appealed for witnesses after a man was assaulted during the early hours of Saturday morning in Bristol city centre.
The man was assaulted near a kebab van which was parked close to the fountains at the junction of Broad Quay with Baldwin Street between 3.45 and 4am.
The male suspect is understood to have approached the victim and assaulted him in the face.
The assault appeared to be without provocation and the suspect fled the scene. He is described as a man of mixed heritage, about 5ft 9ins tall, aged between 21-22 years, of slim build with dark brown hair.

Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

Man Arrested For 2002 Murder Of Becky Godden
Police investigating the disappearance of Becky Godden on December 2002, have arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of murder. Ms Godden was aged 20 when she disappeared in Swindon on 27 December. Her remains were found in 2011 on farmland in Gloucestershire.
