Clifford Jailed For Eight Years For Indecent Assaults

Publicist Max Clifford has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a string of indecent assaults.

Judge Anthony Leonard said he must serve at least half of his sentence.

Clifford, 71, was found guilty of eight counts of indecent assault against four women aged between 15 and 19.

Clifford refused to apologise to his victims when he arrived at court.

Max Clifford Associates is expected to be closed down.

Max Clifford Found Guilty Of Indecent Assaults
Max Clifford has been found guilty of eight indecent assaults on women and girls as young as 15. The publicist was found guilty by a jury at Southwark Crown Court on Monday. He was however cleared on two charges of indecent assault, while the jury was unable to reach a verdict on another charge. Clifford, 71, faced 11 charges in total.

A man has been jailed for 11 years for a series of sexual assaults. Howard Zin Green, 47, of Queens Avenue, Greenford was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court.

Max Clifford Appears In Court On Assault Charges
Max Clifford is to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court today where he faces 11 charges of indecent assault. The alleged assaults are said to have been committed between 1966 and 1985 and relate to seven different women and girls between the ages of 14 and 19.

Max Clifford Pleads Not Guilty To Charges
PR consultant Max Clifford has pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of indecent assault. The 70-year-old appeared at Southwark Crown Court this morning. He faces charges relating to seven alleged victims, between the ages of 14 and 19, between 1966 and 1985. Speaking outside the court, Clifford said he was "totally innocent" of the allegations.

18-Year-Old Jailed For Rape Of 11-Year-Old Schoolgirl
An 18-year-old man who raped an 11-year-old girl in a north London park, has been jailed for life, with a minimum term of eight years. Opemipo Jaji, of Edmonton, denied the attack in Jubilee Park, Enfield, north London in November last year. The jury had heard that Jaji had followed the girl off a bus as she made her way home from school.
