20 Arrested Over Street Brawl
Twenty people, including a 12-year-old boy, have been arrested over a street brawl in North Lanarkshire.
It is understood that the arrested were made on Monday at about 21:15, after police were called to reports of a major disturbance on Gateside Road, in the Craigneuk area of Wishaw.
A group, aged between 12 and 45, were arrested in connection with the incident, which is understood to have followed a funeral.
Police say that inquiries into the brawl are ongoing and further arrests are expected.

Police investigating the death of a 19-year-old man in Nottingham have arrested six people. Joshua Bradley, of Bulwell, died following a suspected street fight in Thurland Street, on 08 February. Two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Teenager Arrested Over Rape Of 12-Year-Old Girl
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the rape of 12-year-old girl in east London. Three males lead the girl to a "secluded" end of a street in Walthamstow at around 00:15 on Saturday before two of them attacked her, held her down and raped her.

Police in Glasgow are continuing their search for a teenage Romanian girl, amid fears that she may have been abducted. Irina Carpaci, 15, disappeared after leaving her home in Daisy Street in Govanhill, Glasgow, around 11am on Saturday.

Two Arrested Over Child's Death In Peterborough
Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a small child at Peterborough City Hospital. According to police the girl, understood to be aged around 2, was brought into the hospital with serious injuries at around 11:00am on Thursday, being pronounced dead just before 13:00.

Eight Men Arrested Following Dawn Raids
Over 100 police officers have carried out a series of raids concerning child sexual exploitation offences in Oxford. Eight men were arrested following the raids at 6am this morning 2 June. Police are investigating approximately 60 offences in connection with the operation relating to female victims in Oxford between 1999 and 2007.
