Volunteers Continue Search For Missing Prosthetic Leg

Volunteer divers are conducting a search of a lake in Dorset for a prosthetic leg.

The owner of the prosthetic, Roy Wright, lost the leg, worth £8,000, after jumping into the water at Lake Pier in Hamworthy.

It is understood that Mr Wright was rescued from the water on Saturday by a passerby after he had gotten into difficulty in a strong current.

The search is being carried out by members of the public in an effort to return Mr Wright's prosthetic leg.

It is understood that Mr Wright was visiting the area as part of a research trip for a charity that is thinking of sending amputees to the area on holiday.
